Dr. Ignacio Mirtillo was a doctor with offices in Tillamook and Wheeler. Over the years, he treated Merton Pond for chronic lung injury. He also treated Harry Pond for polio, and both Harry and Eden Pond for the usual litany of childhood ailments and injuries.
