Netarts Army Camp is a location in the Eden Pond Series.
Details
Located on Cape Meares, the Netarts Army Camp was establushed by the U.S. Army shortly before the start of World War II.[1] The camp also served an an outpost of elements of the 104th Cavalry Regiment, which performed shore patrol on the Oregon coast before and during the war.
The body of Harry Pond was found on Short Beach, about a mile north of the camp.
