Oceanside Army Camp is a location in the Eden Pond Series.
Details
Located south of Cape Meares on the Oregon Coast, the Oceanside Army Camp was established by the U.S. Army shortly before the start of World War II.[1] The camp also served an an outpost for elements of the 104th Cavalry Regiment, which performed shore patrol on the Oregon coast before and during the war.
The body of Harry Pond was found on Short Beach north of the camp.
