The Pioneer Cemetery is the first cemetery in Barlow County in the Melisende Dulac Series.

The official name is the Shatter Hill Cemetery. "Pioneer Cemetery" is used strictly by Barlow County residents. Adjacent to the Old Mortuary on Shatter Hill, most of the old families of Barlow County have plots here. In the latter half of the 1800s, many of those buried here were area miners.
